🐝 Why Are Wasps Still in My House After the Nest Is Treated?

Found a wasp nest in your attic and still seeing live wasps inside after treatment? 🏠🐝 Don’t panic β€” this can be normal.

Even after the queen is killed, the worker wasps already in the colony don’t instantly disappear. Some may be out foraging, hiding in attic or wall spaces, or trying to return to the nest.

If the nest is near your living space, these confused little stingers can find their way indoors through:

🐝 Attic openings
🐝 Ceiling fixtures
🐝 Vents
🐝 Wall voids
🐝 Gaps around pipes and electrical openings

They may then follow light from windows and end up buzzing around your house.

Basically, the queen is gone, but the workers didn’t get the memo. πŸ˜‚πŸ

🐝 How Long Will Wasps Keep Appearing?

It can take several days for remaining adult wasps to die off or leave the area, depending on the nest location and how they are getting into the home.

However, if you’re seeing large numbers of wasps indoors, or activity isn’t decreasing, there could be another nest, an untreated section of the colony, or an access point that needs attention.

🏠 Wasp Nest in Your Attic?

Don’t grab the broom and declare war on the wasps. 🧹🐝πŸ’₯

A professional wasp nest removal and pest control inspection can identify where the colony is located, how wasps are entering your home, and what can be done to prevent future problems.
